Project Brief:          
ACOM sought a big-top marquee that would seat 1460 people for theatrical performances, be portable and make a bold and inviting design statement.

Project Comments:     
The 44m diameter performance tent is supported by four king poles (22m high telescopic poles).  Entry is through a 6m x 8m Springtop tent, the foyer is formed by a 20m x 30m two-pole round foyer tent, and a 3.5m x 9m Springtop walkway tent provides easy access to a custom designed seating system inside the main tent.  

A number of design innovations were incorporated into the project including the internal cupola and the all new king pole shrouds to ensure best possible water proofing.

The theatre tent was delivered and installed in Seoul as a complete project including the semi-circular seating system, lighting truss capable of supporting in excess of 5 tonnes of theatrical lighting and sound systems.
